Children's Ministry Volunteer Orientation

All Sunday morning and evening Children's Ministry volunteers are asked to attend to orientation on Sunday, September 8 as we start a new ministry year.

Sunday Morning Volunteers (Kids QUEST) | 8am | Venue

• Orientation for all teachers and helpers who will be serving at 9am or 10:30am
• Brief review of safety/security, Scripture memorization plan, and prayer
• Coffee provided; children are welcome to attend, if needed
• We will dismiss by 8:40am so 9am teams can get to their classes to welcome children

Sunday Evening Volunteers (Mission Kids) | 5pm | Children's Wing, lower level

• Orientation for all Mission Kids leaders/helpers
• Brief review of safety/security, evening schedule, Scripture memorization plan, and prayer
• Discussion time with team members, by age
• Light snacks provided; children are welcome to attend, if needed
• We will dismiss by 5:50pm in time for evening service (Parkside on the patio service)
• Mission Kids begins on September 15

Telling Children the Story of Jesus

What is the story of Jesus?

It is the story of God’s love for sinners and of the sending of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to earth to redeem the lost. It's a story that is simple and clear—even young children can understand the good news!

We are seeking volunteers to help us show and tell children about Jesus in our Sunday morning and evening ministries. Learn more about the needs and how you can be involved.

Orientation Meetings for Children's Ministry Volunteers

If you are serving in Children's Ministry this coming year (2022-23), please plan to attend the orientation meeting for your ministry on August 28:

• AM teams (Kids QUEST Sunday School): 8:45am, the Venue

• PM teams (Mission Kids): 5:00pm, Children's Wing Lower Level
