Community Involvement

Community Involvement is Parkside’s effort to go outside the walls of the church building and into the community. We desire to see the people who make up Parkside Church mobilized and involved in their communities for the sake of the gospel. Therefore, we want to hold or participate in events and make strategic partnerships in the communities where Parkside Church is represented by her members and attenders. These events and partnerships will provide opportunities to engage with individuals and the community at large in ways that promote the gospel.

  • Handyman Ministry Volunteers Needed

Are you handy around the yard or house? Would you like to use your skills to serve others in our community? We are looking for additional volunteers to join our Parkside Church Handyman Ministry team. For more information, contact Ken kwgblubyu@gmail.com.

  • Host International Students for Thanksgiving

Parkside families are invited to minister to international students from Case and CSU by welcoming them to share in your Thanksgiving celebrations. Many international students have never set foot in an American home and this is a practical way to show them the love of Christ. If you can host 2 or more students, please contact Dan Larison at dlarison@parksidechurch.com and he will connect you with a local campus ministry.

    Thanksgiving Box Project 2023

Every fall for the past 37 years, Parkside Church has helped provide complete Thanksgiving dinners to families in the Cleveland area. Boxes filled with non-perishable food and a whole roasting turkey are hand-delivered to those who might otherwise be unable to enjoy the holiday with a traditional meal.

We invite you and your family to join us as we partner with Scranton Road Bible Church to make this Thanksgiving Day brighter for more than 250 families.
