2024-2025 Bible Studies

We invite you to participate in our Bible Study this fall, Shadows of Jesus: How the Old Testament Points Forward to Christ. Together we'll be exploring how the individuals, offices, events, and institutions of the Old Testament point us toward the person and work of Jesus Christ. Throughout the year we'll study the various Old Testament types and shadows of Jesus that help us to better understand who he is and what he has done for us.

Men's 2023/2024 Bible Study

Studies begin Monday, September 18

All men are invited to join our weekly Bible Studies as we continue the study of Romans.

Join us Monday nights from 7-9pm in The Venue. Each week will include small group discussion, prayer, fellowship, and large group teaching.

Online registration will close the week before the study begins, but you can register in person the first time you attend study anytime during the study. This will be a full year study (No re-registration in January is required). The fee of $30 covers both semesters for all materials provided.

Men's Winter-Spring 2023 Bible Study

All men are invited to join our weekly Bible Studies this Winter-Spriing 2023 as we continue the study of Romans. All groups will meet in the Venue on Monday evenings at 7pm and will then break into small groups for discussion, prayer, and fellowship.  On-line registration will close the week before the study begins but you can register in person the first time you attend study anytime during the semester.

We will not meet February 27th for Fellowship Week and April 3rd for Easter week break.

Men's and women's Bible studies will start the week of September 19. Both groups will be studying Romans 1-8. Registration details will be coming soon.

2022 Men's Spring Bible Study

Location: The Venue
Start Time: Mon 21, March 2022, 7 p.m.
End Time: Mon 25, April 2022, 9 p.m.

All men are invited to join our weekly Bible Studies this Spring 2022 as we study Psalms. All groups will meet in the Venue on Monday evenings at 7pm and will then break into small groups for discussion, prayer, and fellowship.  You can register the first time you attend study if you are new to the study, fall 2021 and winter 2022 participants do not need to re-register. There is no cost to attend.

January 17 Men's Bible Study

Men's Evening Bible Study for January 17 has been cancelled due to the winter storm. We will look forward to seeing you next Monday, January 24.

A Call to Belong

When a local family hosted a game night in Aurora last August, no one anticipated what would develop from the evening. Less than 24 hours after Anthony and Kayleigh Finelli received an unexpected diagnosis about their son, they attended the game night and shared the news. The response was overwhelming, with the group turning to prayer on behalf of the Finelli family. After that night, the group decided that they should study the Bible together and Joshua Wallace reached out to Dan Larison to become a Community Group leader.

For the Finellis, the Community Group has opened their eyes to what it means to belong to the church. “We have a large Christian family who live locally and we tend to lean on them for prayer, encouragement, and spiritual guidance. But the support we have received from this group has shown us that also being a part of the body of Christ is important. It feels like an extension of the family.” Read More >

All men are invited to join our weekly Bible Studies this Winter 2022 continuing the study the book of James on Monday evenings. All groups will meet in the Venue on Monday evenings at 7pm and will then break into small groups for discussion, prayer, and fellowship.  You can register the first time you attend study if you are new to the study, fall participants do not need to re-register. 

There will be no Thursday morning study offered.

Fall 2021 Men's Bible Study

Location: The Venue
Start Time: Mon 20, Sept. 2021, 7 p.m.
End Time: Mon 15, Nov. 2021, 9 p.m.

All men are invited to join our weekly Bible Studies this Fall 2021 to study the book of James together on Monday evenings. All groups will meet in the Venue on Monday evenings at 7pm and will then break into small groups for discussion, prayer, and fellowship.  You can register online or the first time you attend study. Registration on-line is highly recommended so we can get an idea how many small groups to be prepared for this semester. Cost is $10 for the study and an additional $5 if you would like a notebook.

There will be no Thursday morning study offered.
