GEO Kids is for boys and girls in grades 1-5. GEO stands for Growth, Encouragement, and Outreach, and our desire is that kids will learn more about finding their way in the Lord Jesus Christ and develop meaningful friendships through this ministry.

• We hope to resume this ministry in late September. GEO Kids meets twice a month during the school year on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays from 7:00-8:15pm in the Children's Wing (calendars provided at the first meeting).
• GEO Kids is a parent-led ministry, and we are seeking small group leaders. We need 4 female leaders and 6 male leaders. Not sure about being a parent leader?
  • For each meeting, leaders are asked to arrive by 6:50pm. Dismissal is right at 8:15pm and parents are usually prompt to pick up.
  • At each meeting, leaders guide children through a simple lesson, assist with games, Scripture memorization, and help kids build friendships.
  • There are only THIRTEEN GEO meetings for the whole 2023-24 school year!
  • There are at least 2 adults for every small group, so leaders never serve alone.
  • Lessons are simple and require very little advance preparation.

Kids' registration for the 2023-24 year will open once we have leaders.

• The fee is $25/child, with a maximum of $50/family for the whole year.
• This fee covers the cost of lessons, craft & game supplies, and weekly snacks. 
• We want every child who desires to participate to be able to, and scholarships will be available when registration opens. 

We will communicate via our bulletin, website, and in emails to all 2022-23 registered families when we have a better idea of when we can start. We encourage parents with elementary children to prayerfully consider being a part of this ministry next year!
