Marriage Matter Small Group Winter 2017

The Marriage Matters ministry is sponsoring a new 6-week small group beginning Tuesday February 28, 2017. Facilitators will take couples through Paul Tripp's book, "What Did You Expect?" and discuss how their marriages can be enriched, empowered and equipped. The group will meet on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 pm.
This small group is for both couples seeking help in their marriages or for those just seeking to sharpen their focus on Christ.
Cost is $45 per couple or $30 per individual, which includes the book and course materials, along with weekly refreshments. Childcare is provided. Please register online.

Marriage Matters Small Group Spring 2016
Potholes. Buckled pavement. Frost heaves. Incessant road construction. This is a part of life in Northeast Ohio. It seems you cannot go anywhere in Cleveland without running (or dropping) into some sort of roadway difficulty. It’s easy to pass the blame on a myriad of different things: inefficient government, crummy weather, slow construction crews—but the real issue is the foundation. It’s what lies underneath the roads that cause the real problem. The traffic and weather, passing endlessly over the roadways only reveal the structural and foundational weaknesses below.

Marriage Matters Workshop: What People Are Saying...
This past Saturday, Parkside Church welcomed more than 260 guests from area churches and communities to participate in a half-day workshop conducted by author, counselor, and professor, Winston T. Smith, M.Div., author of Marriage Matters: Extraordinary Change Through Ordinary Moments. The workshop was filled with practical, biblical advice about marriages and relationships, and participants -- young and old, married and single -- found the experience worthwhile.

Marriage Matters Workshop
It seems today you cannot turn on the television or keep from seeing a magazine in the grocery aisle that does not publicize the latest divorce, scandal or marriage problem of some famous Hollywood couple. The breakdown of marriage is prevalent in our culture. Likewise the church is not immune to this either; many couples in the church today need the help and hope of the gospel to see clearly the purpose of marriage.
