    Location: Venue
    Start Time: Sat 21, May 2022, 9 a.m.

How People Change and Helping Others Change Workshops

Change in any situation is difficult, and yet God's Word has so much to say about it. Join us as we learn together how people change and helping others change.

    How People Change: April 9
"Life is hard!" Life is hard, which in turn makes establishing new routines difficult. Through this workshop, we'll study the intricacies of the human heart, and see how Christ transforms us through our experiences.

    Helping Others Change: May 21
Helping other people is one of the most basic ways we fulfill God's commandment to love Him and love others. But sometimes we don't know how to help. In this workshop, we'll equip you to walk with others who are hurting. Please note: completion of the How People Change workshop is necessary before taking this one.

    Registration & Cost
Both workshops will run 9am-3:30pm. Cost is $20 for either workshop or $35 for both, which includes breakfast, snacks, lunch, and printed materials.

Both workshops utilize the information found in the books How People Change and Instruments in the Redeemer's Hands which can be purchased at Books by the Park.

  • March 2022 Missions Highlight

Parkside Church organizes short-term mission trips with the goal of providing a helping hand to the missionaries the church financially supports. In January 2022, a Parkside team was sent to a mountain village called El Mamey, in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico.

  • Prayer and Support for Ukraine

Our prayers are with the people of Ukraine and Russia. We encourage you to be in prayer for them and for this situation.

Many have been asking how they can help during this time. If you would like to support the Ukrainian people in addition to your regular giving, you can designate your gift by selecting “Ukraine Relief Fund,” online, or by writing “Ukraine Relief” on the memo line of your check. Parkside will direct those funds toward a gospel relief ministry which is working right now within Ukraine to deploy field hospitals and distribute food, and in neighboring countries to assist refugees.

  • Basics Conference Volunteers

When asked what draws the men to this specific conference, they list three things: 1. the solid biblical preaching; 2. the camaraderie of other men in ministry; and 3. the hospitality they receive from the Parkside Church family.
