  • Lake County Update: June 2013

    By God's grace, many wonderful things have been happening with our partners in Lake County. Among those developments is the welcome addition of new staff member, Chris Durbin and his wife, Laura.

  • Sight and Sound at Parkside

    On any given Sunday at Parkside Church, thousands of people gather in Bainbridge, Ohio, to worship and study God’s Word. On the eastside of Cleveland, Parkside Church Lake County welcomes hundreds more. Similarly in Green, hundreds more gather to watch the sermon that was presented at the 8:15 a.m service in Bainbridge. And around the world, hundreds of thousands of people are able to watch Parkside’s Sunday services by visiting the church’s website. Parkside’s ability to reach so many people is made possible through the work and support of Parkside’s media team, led by Bruce Coffy and Steve James.

  • Practicing Hospitality

    Every Sunday, a faithful team of volunteers stands ready to do just that by welcoming both visitors and church family to Parkside. Supplied with friendly smiles and warm handshakes, Parkside’s team of greeters are ready to help the thousands of people who pass through our church’s doors.

    Basic Christianity - Fall 2012

    Start Time: Sun 7, Oct. 2012, 2:15 p.m.
    End Time: Sun 25, Nov. 2012, 2:15 p.m.

    Basic Christianity, an eight-week course that explores the essentials of the Christian faith, will begin on October 7. This course focuses on the basic tenets of the Christian faith and offers a clear explanation of what the Bible teaches.

    For David Vargas Callisaya and Yara Furuya, a trip to Cleveland, Ohio, saved their lives and they want to say thanks to the Parkside families who helped them during their stay!

    For the past two months, Parkside's congregation has been edified by the teachings of our church's pastoral staff. For the third and final month of senior pastor Alistair Begg's sabbatical, we are excited and honored to introduce visiting pastor, John Shearer, who will preach at both the Sunday morning and evening services. Some of you may remember Pastor Shearer when he was a guest speaker at Parkside's Basics Conference for Pastors in 2010.

  • Ministry Profile: The Dustbusters

    Every Friday, a small and dedicated group of Parkside’s faithful meet to help prepare the church’s 1,600-seat auditorium for Sunday services. They are only eight volunteers strong, and they are a humble group who enjoys their anonymity. This close-knit group values the friendships and fellowship that stem from serving the Lord together. They are affectionately known as The Dustbusters.

  • Extending our Reach for Gospel Growth: Lake County Church Plant

    At the start of 2011, Parkside's leadership team presented their vision for Building into the Next Generation which rests squarely on the importance of gospel relationships. As God continues to guide our steps towards fulfilling this vision, we are blessed to have the opportunity to extend our reach for gospel growth through the establishment of a regional church in Lake County.
