This has been a really exciting season for our Westside church plant. We are so encouraged by the interest in the plant as evidenced by the response to the information meetings that we have held. Our prayerful goal is to have 100 individuals committed to the plant by the launch of our first service in September 2015.

We are excited to take the next step together of meeting for Core Team Gatherings at The University of Akron Lakewood, at 1415 Warren Rd., Lakewood, OH. Our first meeting there will be on Sunday, February 8, from 5pm-7pm.

WHAT THEY ARE

Core Team Gatherings (CTG) will blend different elements, including getting into God's Word, praying, spending time answering questions and/or thinking through ministry-related items. Each meeting will look a little different. This will be an ideal and informal place to introduce people to the plant.

It's important to note that the CTGs are not church services. The meetings will be held twice a month on Sundays at 5pm. We will not meet on the first Sunday of each month. This will ensure those attending have the opportunity to continue to fellowship at Parkside Church, Chagrin Falls and participate in the communion service.

We are encouraging everyone to arrive on time to the CTGs because we only have access to The University of Akron for two hours. We will begin our meeting time promptly at 5:15pm. There will be a light snack and coffee provided (but not dinner). It will be good to bring a Bible with you.

CHILDCARE PROVIDED

Childcare will be provided for children (birth through the 5th grade) during the CTGs. We strongly urge parents to notify us in advance if their children are coming so we can meet the needs of those attending. Please send Rachel an email, rpeteya@parksidechurch.com.

WHERE THEY ARE

The University of Akron in Lakewood has agreed to make available their facility space for our Core Team Gatherings (CTG) and we will plan to hold a number of CTGs there in the upcoming months. Their recently renovated facility is on the first floor of the historic Bailey Building in downtown Lakewood.

There is a parking garage immediately behind their facilities that is free on Sundays and there is more parking available on the other side of Detroit.
