Supported Worker: Bobby & Julie in Central Asia
Details: Continue to pray for the salvation of Bobby’s Russian teacher as they begin each session by reading the book of Mark. Pray for her son-in-law, who is dealing with ALS. Pray for their children as they fight the good fight amidst challenges in school and with their siblings. Pray that M and O will continue to grow as servant leaders in the family and at school. Continue to pray for the older women who have helped Julie with their two youngest children—Zukra, a believer who is battling cancer, and Xacyat, a Muslim who recently returned from a trip to Mecca. Finally, please pray for Bobby and Julie as they grow in their faith and desire to follow Jesus and walk in the Spirit amidst busyness. Tunisia (Africa). Population: 12,564,689 Believers: <0.1%. In the years since 9/11 and subsequent events in the political-religious sphere, many Tunisians have become more fervent in their Islamic faith. Although the government strives against politicized Islam, the general trend in the Arab world at large and locally, and the lack of prospects for the younger generation, are pulling society toward greater Islamization.
