Details: This season brings many opportunities for Shoreline to reach the local community. They are thankful for the results of their fall donation drive for both the Lake Country Free Clinic and Project Hope and have begun their "Give A Christmas Blessing" project. Kids in need will be given Christmas gifts for their families. Pray that those receiving the gifts, as well as the volunteers that participate, will be blessed. Shoreline will host a “Gingerbread Bash” and an “Evening of Christmas Carols” sing-along this month. Pray for the fellowship that will take place at these events. They are also holding an event called Surviving the Holidays. Pray that those who are grieving will find comfort in the message presented as well as from others who attend. Praise the Lord for the opportunity Brian Walls has had to coordinate the MOTUS youth leader network lunches for the last few years through Youth For Christ. Seventy-five youth leaders benefited from the training and fellowship last school year and close to 35 have already benefited this school year. Democratic Republic of Congo-DRC (Africa). Population: 105,625,114 Believers: 18.7%. The powerful spiritual evil that presides over much of the land manifests in many ways, beyond mere civil wars, killing, tribalism, greed, and corruption. Cry out for God to deliver this land, binding the spirits that exercise such wicked control over the suffering people. Pray for nominal Christians to find new life in Christ. There is a notable lack of biblical knowledge in most churches; pray that the Bible would be read, used, and applied in the churches in the DRC.
