Details: It is the winter season in South Africa, and it is not good for the elderly people. Cases of COVID-19 are increasing every day, and many people are dying. Pray that their government will be able to speed up the vaccination process. Pray for the families in their church with COVID. They are still able to hold church and other activities. June is Youth Month in South Africa. They are planning to celebrate by having a talk show, career day, and a Christian fun day. Pray that these activities will challenge their young people to be committed followers of Jesus Christ and will also win others to him. New Zealand (Pacific). Population: 4,669,002 Believers: 18.2%. The increasing presence of other religious and spiritual options presents a challenge for Christians. The influx of immigrants from other faith backgrounds is an opportunity for Kiwis to share the gospel cross-culturally. More pressing though, is the permeation of society with New Age spirituality. Its individualistic, non-structural, nature-attuned character appeals to many who are disillusioned with Christianity. Pray for ways for the gospel to be shared in an engaging and relevant manner.
