Details: As their church in Japan moves into the fall season, please pray that the team and church members of SBBC will get much needed rest and recovery. The summer ministry season in Japan, though short, can be full. There were opportunities to grow deeper in relationships throughout the summer. Pray the Lord will give their team gospel moments with friends in the community in the coming months. Also, pray for the kids and families who heard the gospel for the first time over the summer. Pray that they will hear the voice of the Good Shepherd calling their names and will turn their hearts toward him. Pray that they will treasure a relationship with him above all else. Kosovo (Europe). Population: 1,667,483 Believers: 0.1%. The evangelical church is very small but growing. Though it started around 80 believers at the outbreak of war in 1998, there are now over 2,000, mostly young men and teens (often, girls are forced to keep their faith secret). The formation of an evangelical alliance (Evangelical Movement of Kosovo) and the recognition of evangelicals as one of Kosovo’s five faith communities are both answers to prayer.
