Details: Pray for the training of 30 coaches/leaders from 10 Anglican church primary schools in Rwanda the first week of September. Pray for God's guidance as Ambassadors Football ministry explores the possibility of partnering with Kep and Deb James (ESI) in Nepal to train pastors. Pray for Ambassadors clubs around the globe and for their club here in NE Ohio, with its 22 teams and more than 530 players. They are initiating a new Bible time curriculum and have a number for new coaches and staff coming on board to minister to the players. Pray for their leadership as they work to install the infrastructure to serve the players, families, and coaches well. Peru (Latin America). Population: 34,683,444 Believers: 11.6%. The Quechua and Aymara peoples, descendants of the Incas, are emerging from centuries of oppression, cultural deprivation, grinding poverty, and isolation. The Quechua Church is flourishing as Christianity at last becomes indigenized in Scriptures, structures, worship, and music. Whole villages are turning to Christ. Pray for: a) Millions of mountain Quechua and Aymara still bound by superstitions of pagan and “Christian” origin; b) Bible translation has been a major factor in the Quechuan renaissance and church growth. Pray for the translation teams at work and for widespread use of these new resources; c) The full reconciliation between Quechua and Spanish speakers at the foot of the cross, and the full integration of all ethnic groups into national Christian life.
