  • November 2012 James' Update

    Hello from the USA!

We have been in the States for several weeks visiting family and friends, and tomorrow we arrive in Cleveland, Ohio until after Christmas.

The Bolivian leadership team at the ILC Church in La Paz reports that things are going well and growing. The ESi (Equipping Servants pastoral training) groups in Bolivia, Ecuador and Mexico are moving forward. It was a tremendous encouragement for me being with so many of our ESI participants and graduates in Loja, Ecuador and then 3 States in Mexico (Chiapas, Hidalgo and Oaxaca) in September and October -- hearing reports of how pastors and church leaders are growing in their commitment to the sufficiency of Christ and His Word -- wanting to honor Christ by being true to His Scriptures.

  • James' November 2012 Prayer & Praise

    • Praise for good success on Kep’s trip to Peru, Ecuador and Mexico. The ESI (Equipping Servants pastoral training) ministry is growing strong. Pastors report that God is transforming their lives and churches and families as they study God’s Word and honor Christ being true to the Scriptures. Kep returned with a renewed sense of the urgency for pastoral training around Latin America.

    • We are thankful to the Lord to be back in the USA, and look forward to our time at Parkside mid-November through the end of December.

    Greetings from Loja, Ecuador!

This October Update that I've attached in pdf features this trip, with photos of both places. Next week I'll be in Mexico meeting with our ESI groups in Chiapas, Pachuca and Oaxaca. I value your prayers that God would allow me to be an encouragement to many pastors.

  • James' August 2012 Update

    Hello from Bolivia!

Again we want to thank you for your prayers regarding our dual citizenship that was granted a few weeks ago. This has made it possible for Debbie to visit her dad in Rochester, NY, where she arrived an hour ago. It allows me to make plans to visit our ESI (Equipping Servants pastoral training) groups in Peru, Ecuador and Mexico in September. Debbie and I plan to be in Cleveland for our Home Assignment from Oct 10 until after the New Year.

Our ministry in the ILC Church and ESI is going well. We are seeing much fruit as pastors and church leaders grow in their commitment to honor Christ by being true to His Scriptures. Thank you for your prayers, During this LONG process, God has taught us MANY important lessons over the 3 years we've been waiting for our dual Bolivian citizenship.
