Certain Hope in an Uncertain World
As the Hebrew believers faced ongoing trials and persecution, they were encouraged to hold fast to the One Who, from the beginning, had kept His promises. They needed the reminder that God is true to His Word. In this passage, we see that God condescends to meet His people in their need, showing them His heart, and helping them understand more of Who He is. We can endure with patience and perseverance because God is unchanging, His promises are certain, and He offers hope in the redeeming work of His Son.
