The Church in the Last Days —  Part One

Morning Service
Feb 9, 2025

What are the characteristics of the church in these last days? In his first epistle, Peter instructs the church to pray soberly—to have clear-headed wisdom that rests in the plans and purposes of God, and understands the necessity of bringing everything to the Lord in prayer. We are to pray soberly in recognition of our complete dependence on Christ. Encouraging the church to also love earnestly, he reminds believers to look past offenses and love one another based on the unmerited love that has been shown to us through Jesus Christ.
