The Cross Shaped Life

Morning Service
Jun 24, 2018

What shapes the way we live? As followers of Christ, our lives should be shaped first and foremost by the cross of Jesus Christ. In Mark chapter 8, Jesus gives His disciples a lesson on discipleship telling them that anyone who wants to follow Him must take up their cross. It’s not a call for a select few or the spiritually elite–it is the call for all who have faith in the work of Jesus to deny ourselves for the sake of the Gospel.
