God

When faced with temptation, we naturally want to avoid the external things that are the occasion for our sin. This approach might work for a little while, but it's not effective in the end because it is our hearts - not our circumstances - that are the source of our temptations. God, who knows our weakness, has also provided for our need so that we aren't hopeless in the struggle against sin. He has given us new life and new love in the Lord Jesus, who is the source of our victory.
