The Gospel to the African
When Philip encountered the Ethiopian eunuch, the man was reading a portion of Scripture he could not understand. Philip seized the opportunity for evangelism and explained to this foreigner the good news of the passage he was reading–that despite his social and ethnic differences, Christ died to welcome him into His family. This account of the Ethiopian eunuch’s conversion and baptism demonstrates that the Gospel is for all people and bridges geographic and racial boundaries to unite all who trust in Christ to the family of God.
