Great Expectations?

Morning Service

When we pray, what do we expect of God - too much? too little? In his prayer in the 3rd chapter of Ephesians, the Apostle Paul asks God for three primary things in the lives of his readers: power, love, and the fulness of God. Gary Millar explains how these requests have a higher focus than we might have thought. The power and love and fulness of God are intended to help deepen our relationship with Jesus, with the ultimate goal that God would be glorified as we increasingly experience His grace in our lives.
