The Word of God has been implanted in the soul of the Christian, but the soil is not always fit for growth. How can we cultivate a soil that will allow God’s Word to grow and transform us into the likeness of Christ? Motivated by the love of God, Christians are called not only to hear God’s Word but also to do what it says. Proof of a right response to hearing God’s Word is evidenced by obedience in action.
