Our New Life in Christ
Although the Colossians were committed believers, false teachers had entered the church, desiring to alter the truth of Gospel. The Apostle Paul’s letter returned the focus to transforming power of the cross. Like the Colossians, we must remember our saved position is established by Christ alone, as we seek to put off the sins of our former selves, and put on our identity as God’s children through His Son.
