This May, Parkside Church is pleased to announce an exciting line-up of guest speakers who will give our church family a unique opportunity to learn from the perspectives and experiences of an accomplished and diverse group of men. Rupert Bentley-Taylor has more than 30 years’ experience as a teacher and pastor, and has taught the Bible in numerous training courses and conventions. He is the former senior pastor of Widcombe Baptist Church in Bath, England, and is currently involved with a new church, Emmanuel Church, also in Bath.
Gary Millar is the principal of Queensland Theological College in Brisbane, Australia, where he teaches Old Testament, biblical theology, and preaching. Millar worked as a pastor for 17 years in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, and was involved in both church revitalization and church planting before moving to Brisbane to lead the
team at QTC.

Colonel (retired) Jeffrey N. Williams graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1980 and then served more than 27 years in the U.S. Army. Williams became an astronaut in 1996 and flew on a 10-day Space Shuttle mission before training for the 182-day Expedition 13. Now, after 3 flights and 362 days in space, he is preparing for his fourth space mission.

Christopher Ash is the director of Proclamation Trust’s Cornhill Training Course, designed to provide Bible-handling and practical ministry skills to those exploring their role in Christian work. Before this, he served 4 years at St Andrew the Great Church in Cambridge, and then 7 years leading a church plant in Little Shelford.

H.B. Charles is the pastor-teacher at the Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. Prior to this, he led the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church of Los Angeles for nearly 18 years. Succeeding his late father, Charles began his pastorate at Mt. Sinai at the age of 17—a senior in high school.
