    Ring in the New Year with TrueLife

    7:30 p.m.— 12:30 a.m.

    Help ring in 2014 with a great crowd of people! Join us for our New Year's Eve party on Tuesday December 31st at the Loft. We'll have movies, games, food, and other festivities. Starts at 7:30pm. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share.

    Prayer Time for Orphans

    7 p.m.— 9 p.m.

    Please join us for a time of prayer for orphans on the first Friday of every month from 7-9pm beginning on December 6th. For more information, please contact Melissa Stanek at melissa.stanek926@gmail.com.

    Baptism 101 Class

    9:45 a.m.— 10:45 a.m.

    The aim of this class is to give an explanation of the biblical basis for baptism. This class is open to all who desire to examine the scriptures in relation to baptism and is a three week series, usually running the first three Sundays of the month. Completion of this class is required in order to be baptized.

    Pre-school Play Groups

    10 a.m.— noon

    Pre-school Play Groups is a great way to let your pre-schooler blow off some steam in a fun, safe, and positive way. We meet every 1st Tuesday in the lower level Commons and play games, have snacks, and build relationships. We encourage everyone to pack a lunch and gather in the upstairs Commons to eat before naptime. This is for all Moms and their children from birth to age 5.

    Small groups for middle school students that meet in local homes.

    Parents' Night Out

    6 p.m.— 9 p.m.

    Respite care for families of children with special needs is offered the 2nd Friday evening of every month at Parkside from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Let us take care of your children while you have some time to do something for yourself and give you a much needed break. Contact Troy & Danelle Bennington if you are a returning family or contact Renee at the church office if you are new to PNO and received an introductory/application packet.

    January Young Family Play Day

    4 p.m.— 7 p.m.

    Families with at least one child under 7 are invited to our Young Family Play Day on January 11th from 4-7pm at the Warehouse. There will be inflatables for older kids and a soft play area for toddlers and crawlers. Pizza, juice boxes and water will be provided, please bring a side dish to share. Feel free to add a dessert if you would like!

    Kids Quest Team Prayer

    9 a.m.— 9:30 a.m.

    Anyone serving in Children's Ministry is welcome to join us the first Sunday of every month (or a time designated) at 9am for a brief time of prayer for the children and their families here at Parkside.

    Basic Christianity - Winter 2014

    9:45 a.m.—

    Basic Christianity, a ten-week course that explores the essentials of the Christian faith, will begin on January 12.This course focuses on the basic tenets of the Christian faith and offers a clear explanation of what the Bible teaches.

    A monthly care group for those whose lives have been affected by cancer.

    Embracing Family Informational Meeting

    12:30 p.m.— 2:30 p.m.

    For those who have adopted or are interested in adoption, please join us for a informational meeting on Jan. 12, 2014 at 12:30pm in Fellowship Hall. A light lunch will be provided and children are welcome.

    Kids of the Kingdom

    6 p.m.— 7 p.m.

    Kids of the Kingdom is our evening program for children age 3 thru 3rd grade. Children meet in a large group for prayer, singing, and missions emphasis and then break into smaller groups for Bible lessons and age-appropriate activities. Parents sign-in children in the hallway outside of Fellowship Hall. Children join their parents for the beginning of evening worship 7 dismissed to KoK by the Pastor. Children will be picked up from a designated room.

    All Tuesday Evening Bible Study Facilitators and Teachers are invited to attend a dinner meeting to kick off the start of a new semester in the study of Isaiah.

    GEO Kidz Mid-Week Meeting

    7 p.m.— 8:15 p.m.

    GEO Kidz is the mid-week program for children in grades 1-5. GEO stands for growth, encouragement, and outreach. Children meet in age-specific, gender-seperate small groups where learning is geared toward the varying interests of boys and girls. GEO Kidz meets every other Thursday each month.

    Gals Game Night

    7 p.m.— 9 p.m.

    All women are invited to a game night in the Commons on January 17th from 7-9pm. We will have several games set up and lots of tasty treats to enjoy. Bring a friend and escape the winter blahs. This event is free and suggested donation is a personal care item to be given to Laura's Home, a local women's shelter. A box will be provided for you to place your item as you enter the Commons.
