    An eight-week care group to offer hope and encouragement for those grieving the death of a loved one.

    Dealing with Divorce provides loving and biblical counsel for men and women dealing with the heartbreak and loss of broken marriages.

    GEO Kidz Kick-Off

    All children (grade 1-5) and their families are invited to Join us for the kick-off to our mid week children's program of growth, encouragement and outreach. You can register your child(ren) at that time for the 2014/2015 school year.

    Parents' Night Out

    6 p.m.— 9 p.m.

    Respite care for families of children with special needs is offered the 2nd Friday of every month at Parkside Church from 6-9pm. Reservations are required at least a week in advance to assure adequate staffing. Check in is in room 106. This childcare is for children with special needs and their siblings.

    October Young Family Play Day

    4 p.m.— 7 p.m.

    Families with at least one child under 7 are invited to our Young Family Play Day on October 11th from 4-7pm at the Warehouse. There will be inflatables for older kids and a soft play area for toddlers and crawlers. Pizza, juice boxes and water will be provided, please bring a side dish to share. Feel free to add a dessert if you would like!

    Sunday Morning Groups

    9 a.m.

    Our Sunday morning groups are an opportunity to learn and fellowship together with a smaller group of people from various life stages. Each group is taught by a member of our pastoral team.

    Children's Music Ministry

    9 a.m.— 9:30 a.m.

    We welcome all children who love to sing to join our children's choir. Reading capability is desired but not necessary if the child can focus reasonably well on the music.

    Baptism 101 Class

    9:45 a.m.— 10:45 a.m.

    The aim of this class is to give an explanation of the biblical basis for baptism. This class is open to all who desire to examine the scriptures in relation to baptism and is a three week series, usually running the first three Sundays of the month. Completion of this class is required in order to be baptized.

    Embracing Family Luncheon

    12:30 p.m.— 2:30 p.m.

    The Embracing Family ministry will hold a luncheon on October 12 at 12:30pm in Room 202. All families who have adopted or who are interested in adoption are welcome to attend. Lunch will be provided and children are welcome. Please RSVP at parksidechurch.com/adopt.

    The Marriage Matters ministry is sponsoring a new 6 week small group beginning September 9. Facilitators will take couples through Paul Tripp's book, "What Did You Expect?" and discuss how their marriages can be enriched, empowered and equipped.
