Powerhouse Groups

Powerhouse groups are the small group portion of the middle school ministry split up by gender and grade. During the academic school year, Powerhouse groups meet in local area homes in place of Club JV on the first Tuesday of every month.

:transit: Movie Night
7:30 p.m.
On the evening of December 2nd, at the first ever :transit: movie night, we'll be showing the latest, feature-length film from Get The Pix, :transiteer: Jon Klein's production company. It's called "The Tale of the Sparrow," and you are welcome to see it with us, free of charge.

Student Life Groups are the small group portion of the high school ministry split up by gender and grade. During the academic school year, Student Life Groups meet in local area homes in place of Student Impact on the first Thursday of every month.

GEO Kidz Meeting
7 p.m.— 8:15 p.m.
GEO Kidz meet bi-weekly starting October 1st thru May 5th on Thursday evenings beginning at 7pm. GEO meets in the lower level of the Children's Wing and we suggest you bring your Bible and your GEO notebook to each meeting. Snacks are provided.

Anyone age 50+ is invited to join in a festive time of Christmas celebration on Friday, December 4th at 6:30 pm in The Venue. Dinner will be served.

All are invited to join the Sojourners for a Christmas Carol Sing on Friday, December 4th at 8:30 pm. Bonnie Cook and friends will lead us through a celebration of Christ

Cocoa & Caroling
9 a.m.— 11 a.m.
GEO Kidz will meet in The Venue at 9am on December 5th for Cocoa and cookies before we head for caroling at local nursing homes. Invite a friend to come along for the fun!

Sunday Morning Groups
9 a.m.
Our Sunday morning groups are an opportunity to learn and fellowship together with a smaller group of people from various life stages. Each group is taught by a member of our pastoral team.

Children's Music Ministry
9 a.m.— 9:30 a.m.
Children age 4 and up are encouraged to become part of the Parkside Church Children's Choir. They meet every Sunday morning from 9-9:30am in room C001. Reading ability is preferable but not required. The Children's Choir usually shares their music with the congregation at Christmastime and Easter time.

U-turn is the Sunday morning middle school gathering which takes place in the lower level of the Commons B020, during the 9:45am service. Our time together is centered on the teaching of the Bible, accompanied by hanging out and some brief announcements.

A time of festive celebration for all Parkside Single Moms and their children. No cost to attend but please RSVP.

Mission Kids
6 p.m.— 7 p.m.
Our Sunday Evening children's program, Mission Kids is for children age 3-5th grade. Mission Kids activities include Bible Time, worship, small groups, Bible memorization, activity time, and missions focus. All children must be checked in at a kiosk before attending Mission Kids; parents pick up their children from designated classrooms in the Children's Wing lower level.

Parents bring your pre-school aged child and a friend with theirs for our monthly story time. Along with fun activities for the children we always tell a great story with a Biblical lesson that the little ones will appreciate.

Parkside's Transit ministry is designed for young adults, single or married, ages 22-35. We offer a smaller-scale, mid-week, age-targeted contemporary worship event on Wednesday evenings, 7:30pm, at the Loft.
